She achieved seven holes-in-one, including one at one of the most prestigious golf courses in the world, The Augusta National Golf Club. Over the years, Sandra competed in numerous Georgia State Golf Association tournaments and Women’s Amateur Championships. Her many accomplishments included winning the Georgia Women’s Golf Association Four-Ball Net Championship in 2010 and 2016, the Gross Championship in 2016 and 2019, the Georgia Senior Women’s Golf Association Team Championship in 2008, and the Super Senior Championship in 2021. She and Emory also enjoyed playing side-by-side for eight years with CSRA Couples Golf.
A longtime member of the Central Savannah River Area Women’s Golf Association, Sandra played out of Goshen Plantation, Point South, Applewood, and Gordon Lakes (now Eisenhower Lakes). She won the Montenyohl Championship five times and was honored as a Lifetime Member of the CSRA WGA in 2016.”
