Mary Ann Charnes (Savannah Lakes) 2022
The purpose of the Memorial Cup is to honor the memory of CSRA members who have passed away and to encourage participation in the individual and four-ball events.
Each CSRA member participating in these events accumulates points during the season. Ten points are awarded to each participant, plus additional points are earned according to the point distributions that are listed below. Participation points are not awarded when a competitor is disqualified, withdraws from an event, or does not submit a scorecard. If an event is rained out, oversubscribed, or otherwise consists of a limited field, participation points are not awarded and this event does not count toward the perfect attendance recognition.
Points are cumulative through the season, and keeping track of them is the responsibility of the Handicap / Memorial Cup Chairman. A cumulative update of the Memorial Cup points standing is posted here on the website each month.
At the Awards Luncheon on the final day of the Montenyohl Championship, the Handicap / Memorial Cup Chairman presents the awards for participation and total points accumulated during the season just ended.

All ties should receive memorial points according to score. No monetary prizes awarded.
- Memorial Cups are awarded as follows: the top overall (gross plus net plus participation) points earned; the highest gross points earned; and the highest net points earned. In the event that the same woman qualifies for more than one top award, she shall receive only the higher award, and the next highest qualifier will receive the other award.
- Prize money is awarded to the top 10% of those who accumulated points (gross + net + participation points) during the season. In the case of ties, the money for the successive places will be pooled and split among the tied participants.
- A special “Perfect Attendance” gift is awarded to those women who have earned participation points at each event in the season. In the event that a field is limited and not all eligible members wishing to play can participate, only gross and net points will be awarded, and the event will not be considered in determining perfect attendance.
